Telia brings the 3G iPhone to Sweden (Updated)
Oh happy days, finally we received news about the iPhone coming to Sweden! According to Aftonbladet.se and Dina Pengar, Telia just signed a contract with Apple and Aftonbladet claims the iPhone should be in stores by August. The contract is for Sweden, Norway, Denmark, Finland, and the Baltic States.
I’m so happy I left 3 a long time ago… Even thought I’m not even sure I’m getting the thing.
Update: 080528 10.30 am According to DN.se, negotiations have in fact taken place between Apple and Telias two competitors Telenor and Tele 2, but no agreements have been reached. Nothing is indicating so far that they will sign anything either, but it wouldn’t be surprising as multiple carriers for one nation has been done for the new 3G iPhone already, in Italy.
